Duties

Help
  • Inspect golf carts before use, ensuring they are clean, charged, and in safe working condition. Report any mechanical issues.
  • Greet golfers, assign carts, provide basic instructions on cart operation, and answer questions about the course or facilities.
  • Keep track of cart usage, organize staging areas, and ensure carts are available and ready during peak times.
  • Wash carts after use, remove trash, and return them to designated storage or charging areas at the end of shifts.
  • Ensure driving range balls are picked up with a picker cart and refill ball dispenser. Arrange hitting stations and ensure hitting stalls are clean and ready for use.

  • A one-year probationary period may be required.
  • Satisfactorily complete an employment verification (E-Verify) check.
  • Issues equipment and games to authorized users, collects fees, inspects returns for damage, and manages inventory.
  • In a recreation facility, assists in directing patrons, scheduling the use of courts, lanes and equipment. Participates in and directs games and social events. Decorates party rooms and maintains the cleanliness of assigned work areas.
  • In arts and crafts programs, demonstrates simple techniques.
  • Provides facility and program information to patrons. Assists with simple repair and maintenance.

PCS Costs
  • Payment of Permanent Change of Station (PCS) costs are not authorized based on a determination that a PCS move is not in the Government's interest.
Pay-Band (NF or CY) Allowances and Differentials
  • This is a pay-banded position.
  • Sunday premium pay may be authorized by the Garrison Commander. If authorized, only regular (full-time, part-time, limited tenure and seasonal) employees may be paid Sunday premium pay. When authorized, Sunday premium will be paid at the rate of 25% of the basic rate for all hours of non-overtime, when any part of the scheduled tour of duty is performed on Sunday (to a maximum of 8 hours per Sunday). Sunday premium will be paid at the rate of 25% of the basic rate for all hours of non-overtime, when any part of the scheduled tour of duty is performed on Sunday (to a maximum of 8 hours per Sunday).
  • Night differential may be authorized by the Garrison Commander. When authorized, night differential will be paid at the rate of 10% basic rate for hours of non-overtime work performed between 1800-0600.
  • Non-foreign overseas allowances, cost of living (COLA), and differentials will not be paid, contingent upon eligibility.
