I can operate engineering equipment to transport loads for the organization. I work under supervision of a work leader or journey-level employee who reviews my work for completion. Failure to meet this Screen out Element will result in an ineligible rating.
PHYSICAL EFFORT: Heavy physical effort required in operating equipment controls. Vibration of equipment causes considerable physical strain. Operator may work in awkward uncomfortable positions.
WORKING CONDITIONS: Work is performed in all kinds of weather. Operator may work from exposed cabs or seats. Subject to injury from traffic hazards and equipment overturning. Operator is exposed to extreme weather conditions, and to disagreeable vibration, dust, dirt, oil, water, engine odors and exhaust fumes
