Direct a wide spectrum of emergency services programs to ensure the integration of plans and operations across multiple functions.
Manage the depot's Anti-Terrorism and Force Protection programs by developing and integrating security measures based on comprehensive threat assessments
Develop long-range strategic plans to address mission changes and incorporate new technologies into force protection programs
Administer the directorate's annual budget to provide necessary training, equipment, and support for all emergency services divisions
Supervise the development and implementation of a comprehensive exercise program to test and improve the readiness of emergency response forces
Coordinate intelligence and security matters with federal, state, and local agencies to ensure a unified and comprehensive review of threats
Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
Requires the incumbent to obtain the following core Security Professional Education Development (SPeD) Certification "Security Fundamentals Professional Certification” (SFPC) within their first two years of employment.
Must undergo pre-employment and recurring investigations to obtain and maintain a Secret clearance.
