The specific duties assigned to a Cybersecurity Specialist may differ by hiring agency, Examples may include:
Providing guidance on all aspects of the planning and implementation of cybersecurity system security controls and associated processes.
Serving as the cybersecurity representative in federal and industry meetings and coordination efforts.
Providing technical oversight for cybersecurity requirements and implementations and in the development of long-range security plans.
