Multiple - Position may be filled as a time-limited promotion, reassignment or change to lower grade not to exceed (NTE) 13 months by a current permanent Army employee. Extensions may be possible in accordance with guidance on the job announcement.
Incumbent must obtain and maintain a secret security clearance.
This position is covered by the Alcohol and Drug Abuse Prevention and Control Program. The incumbent is required and must pass urinalysis testing, as required prior to appointment and periodically thereafter.
This position requires the completion of a pre-employment Physical Examination and an annual examination thereafter.
This position has a requirement to lift up to 75 lbs. in the regular performance of duties.
Works in support of other deployment operation missions as required: rail and unit movement planning and execution.
In accordance with AR 690-11, this position has been designated as "Key" and shall not be vacated during a national emergency or mobilization as doing so would seriously impair the capability of the organization to function effectively.
This position has been designated "Mission Essential". In the event of severe weather conditions or other such emergency type situations the incumbent is required to report to work or remain at work as scheduled to support mission operations.
Irregular work hours required after normal duty hours, weekends, holidays, evenings, and nights.
Forklift operator's certificate is required to be obtained and maintained within three months of hire.
The duties of this position require the incumbent to possess or obtain and maintain a valid state Driver's License in one of the 50 U.S. states or possessions to operate vehicles.
Appointment to this position is subject to a one year probationary period unless the appointee has previously met the requirements as described in 5 CFR Part 11. While probationary the incumbent can be terminated with limited appeal rights.

Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes 1) Coordinating flight line operations to facilitate cargo loading and aircraft departures; 2) Validating hazardous materials documentation to ensure compliance with aviation transport regulations; 3) Conducting joint inspections to verify proper equipment handling and movement procedures; 4) Tracking deployment schedules to provide real-time updates on aircraft arrivals and departures.. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-06).
