Correspond with various utility companies regarding purchase of utilities relative to cost adjustments or discrepancies.
May serve as Contracting Officer Representative (COR) for Utilities Purchase Contracts and process payments for Utility Energy Savings Contracts (UESC) Projects and Utility Privatization (UP) contracts.
Perform contract administration functions for all installation long term (up to 50 Years) UP contracts and all Utilities Sales and Purchase contracts.
Verify Memorandums Of Understanding (MOU'S), Interservice Support Agreements (ISSAs) for the sale of utilities services, supplemental agreements, change orders and modifications to same for approval.
Maintain a financial spreadsheet to provide utilities cost/consumption data and reimbursable collection data for use in customer account inquiries.
Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
This position requires a driver's license.
This position has a requirement to lift up to 25 lbs.
May be required to travel TDY 5%.

Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes experience in examining various types of bills submitted by utility suppliers for payment of utility services; experience calculating energy consumption and costs and knowledge of regulating procedures and policies related to the purchase and contract sell of utility commodities. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the second lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-07).
