This position has a Temporary Duty (TDY) or business travel requirement of 30% of the time.
Appointment to this position is subject to a one year probationary period unless the appointee has previously met the requirements as described in 5 CFR Part 11.

Basic Requirement: This position has a basic entry requirement. The entry requirement requires completion of education or a combination of education and experience sufficient to be comparable to that normally acquired through the completion of a four-year course of study with a major in the professional or scientific field. Please refer to the Office of Personnel Management Individual Occupational Requirements for possible ways to meet the basic requirements.
In addition to meeting the basic requirement above, to qualify for this position you must also meet the qualification requirements listed below:
Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes; 1) managing the planning, design, and execution of large-scale engineering or construction projects; 2) integrating diverse technical requirements, stakeholder interests, and regulatory guidance into a comprehensive management plan; and 3) resolving complex technical, programmatic, and financial issues to ensure project milestones are met. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-12).
Education
