Summary
This position is located at NOTU, Cape Canaveral, FL within the Morale, Welfare and Recreation (MWR) Department, Commander, Navy Region Southeast. This position is assigned to the Greenhouse and is assigned duties within the Greenhouse as cashier.
Performs tasks with several steps or sequence of tasks such as: receiving various checks, cash and credit card for processing transactions involving sale of various food service options to authorized patrons.
Conducts the set up and breakdown of the dining room each day.
Prepares daily activity reports for the sales for the day and turns into central cashier.
May unload food from delivery trucks and move heavy garbage cans.
Operate cash register and be responsible for own change fund.
Responsible for the cleanliness and sanitation of bar, and dining room area and items.
Must meet Federal Employment suitability requirements and successful completion of background investigation. Background investigations are conducted using fingerprint identification and completion of background inquiry forms.
Must successfully pass the E-verify employment verification check. Any discrepancies must be resolved as a condition of employment.
You must go through a Personal Identity Verification (PIV) process that requires two forms of identification from the Form I-9.
May be required to pass pre-employment examinations.
A valid State driver's license is required to operate motor vehicles.
Must have your salary sent to a financial institution of your choice by Direct Deposit/Electronic Funds Transfer.
