Duties

MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSBILITIES:

  • Performs tasks with several steps or sequence of tasks such as: receiving various checks, cash and credit card for processing transactions involving sale of various food service options to authorized patrons.
  • Conducts the set up and breakdown of the dining room each day.
  • Prepares daily activity reports for the sales for the day and turns into central cashier.
  • May unload food from delivery trucks and move heavy garbage cans.
  • Operate cash register and be responsible for own change fund.
  • Responsible for the cleanliness and sanitation of bar, and dining room area and items.
  • Maintain Inventory.
  • Performs other related duties as required.

  • Must meet Federal Employment suitability requirements and successful completion of background investigation. Background investigations are conducted using fingerprint identification and completion of background inquiry forms.
  • Must successfully pass the E-verify employment verification check. Any discrepancies must be resolved as a condition of employment.
  • You must go through a Personal Identity Verification (PIV) process that requires two forms of identification from the Form I-9.
  • May be required to pass pre-employment examinations.
  • A valid State driver's license is required to operate motor vehicles.
  • Must have your salary sent to a financial institution of your choice by Direct Deposit/Electronic Funds Transfer.
  • Selective Service Registration is required for males born after 12/31/1959.
  • Position requires prolonged periods of standing, walking, bending, and carrying
  • Position requires lifting up to 30 pounds.
  • Must be able to work varied work schedules to include evenings, weekends, holidays, and split shifts.
  • Subject to recall.
  • Must successfully complete food handler’s and/or cash handling training on an annual basis.
  • Position is not eligible to receive tips.

Qualifications

Specialized experience directly related to the duties described above. Qualifying experience must have been equivalent to the next lower level in the normal line of progression.

Specialized experience must demonstrate the following:

  • Three (3) months of general experience required relatable to the duties being performed.
  • Cash handling and food preparation experience.
  • Ability to communicate orally and in writing in English.
  • Must possess a valid driver's license.

You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer and part time experience. You must clearly identify the duties and responsibilities in each position held and the total number of hours per week.
