Duties

Help
  • You will orchestrate cybersecurity programmatic decisions, manages enterprise cybersecurity programs, manage risk, and synchronize activities necessary to accomplish the cybersecurity mission.
  • You will manage strategy, personnel, infrastructure, policy enforcement, emergency planning, security awareness and other resources.
  • You will ensure that information security management processes are integrated with CNIC strategic, operational, and budgetary planning processes.
  • You will provide cybersecurity policy, guidance, and advice to Regional N6 staffs.

  • This is a Cyberspace Workforce position, work role code 722 and 531, proficiency level Advanced the incumbent is required to obtain and maintain qualifications in DoDM 8140.03 Cyber Workforce Qualification and Department of Navy policies.
  • Successful completion of a pre-employment drug test (including marijuana) is required. A tentative offer of employment will be rescinded if you fail to report to the drug test appointment or fail the test. You will be subject to random testing.
  • This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
  • This is a Mission Essential position. You will be required to ensure organization or facility continuity of operations and/or completion of tasks that are considered essential to the mission designated by a local or command decision.
  • Supervisors in the executive branch have a heightened personal responsibility for advancing government ethics. You will be required to review the 14 General Principles of Ethical Conduct at 5 CFR 2635.101.
  • This position requires pertinent credentials and the expectation of 20 hours annual, continuous learning associated with speciality area 722 and 531, IAW SECNAV 5239.2 and DOD Manual 8140.

Qualifications

Your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of Specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-14 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Ability to advise senior leadership officials within the Naval shore environment on long term IT/OT capital investment planning and resourcing to promote meeting shore/facilities transformation plans and forecasts. Proficient in developing Program Objective Memorandum, Cybersecurity Risk Management strategies and planning, acquisition strategies, budget execution plans, human capital strategies, and leading a Program Management Office; 2) Proven analytical and problem-solving capabilities, including the ability to critically evaluate information, identify root causes, and formulate balanced recommendations considering cross functional stakeholder interests; 3) Expert program management, acquisition, analytic, and critical thinking skills, including the ability to conduct program assessments, identify needs and requirements, and develop process improvement recommendations for potential implementation within the Navy Shore/Facilities/Installations environment; 4) Expert experience in personally implementing complex projects; managing and mitigating risks, assessing stakeholder requirements, identifying dependencies, and developing responsive project plans; estimating costs and other resources using quantitative analysis to project requirements; and completing projects within deadlines; 5) Expert ability to establish regular contact with internal and external officials at all levels of authority and have periodic contacts with other offices, supplying or seeking information on specialized and non-specialized IT and Cybersecurity matters; excellent use of tact when expressing ideas or opinions to senior leaders and stakeholders; and6) Superior interpersonal, organizational, and problem-solving skills, including demonstrated ability to work effectively both independently and in a team or collaborative environment to lead and mentor junior colleagues.
