United States (U.S.) Citizens and Non-U.S. Nationals who have resided in the U.S. or U.S. territory for three (3) or more continuous years immediately preceding the start of Federal affiliation.

Duties

Help
  • Prepares a variety of correspondence, briefing charts and reports for the Director.
  • Assists in arranging various command events and functions
  • Assists the Administrative Officer with the Government Travel Card Program; the Personnel Security Program; the Purchase Card Program; correspondence control; and other areas as required.
  • Serves as the Command's point of contact for DoD Building Passes and Common Access Cards. Uses a GSA vehicle to make periodic distribution / coordination visits to the DoD Building Pass Office, the Army Security Office, and other offices.
  • Ensures fingerprints are obtained for various state repositories based upon specific state-by-state requirements and submits to the Office of Personnel Management for processing.

Qualifications

A qualified candidate must possess the following:

  • Work experience that includes a practical application of the above described or related work experience.
  • Must be able to communicate in a clear, concise and grammatically correct manner.
  • Must have knowledge of Army administrative policies and procedures.
  • Must have knowledge of military protocol procedures to arrange special events and functions.
  • Must be able to use a variety of software programs such as Word, Outlook, PowerPoint and Excel.
  • Must possess a valid driver's license and be able to drive in the local commuting area.

In addition to the above qualifications, candidates who possess the following qualifications will be considered "Highly Preferred" or "Best Qualified":
  • Must be have experience with fingerprinting and document review.

Allowances and Differentials
  • This job is part of a pay-banded system. Sunday premium pay for regularly scheduled employees and night differential pay may be authorized by the Garrison Commander.
  • Non-foreign overseas allowances, cost of living (COLA), and differentials will not be paid.
