Summary
You will serve as a Quality Assurance Specialist in the Quality Assurance Division of FLTREADCEN EAST specializing in the implementation of AS 9110 principles within the Quality Management System.
You will ensure that the organization’s QMS strategic plan, mission, vision and values are communicated to the team and integrated into the team’s strategies, goals, objectives, work plans and work products and service specific to AS 9110 standards.
You will communicate to the team assignments, projects, problems to be solved, actionable events, milestones, and/or program issues under review, and deadlines and timeframes for completion.
You will lead and provide guidance to the team consisting of 2 management and program analysts, and 4 quality assurance specialists.
You will serve as a coach, facilitator, or negotiator in coordinating team actions and priorities.
You will ensure the audit team executes internal process reviews, investigations, and measurements of the effectiveness, efficiency and quality of services and products related to the QMS and related standards.
Must be determined suitable for federal employment.

Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following:
Proficient knowledge and applicability of AS 9110 - Quality Management Systems - Requirements for Aviation Maintenance Organizations.
Proficient knowledge and experience in applying a wide range of qualitative and quantitative methods to assess and improve program effectiveness in relation to NAMP requirements, AS standards and certifications.
Broad knowledge of engineering and logistics management theory as it relates to the effective establishment and monitoring of an aircraft industrial operation QMS merges with AS and NAMP requirements.
Broad knowledge of FRC East Business Strategies and how they relate to Continuous Process Improvement concepts, philosophies, methods and techniques
