Yes—This position is not eligible for regular and recurring telework. This position is eligible for situational telework only, including emergency and OPM prescribed "unscheduled telework". Situational telework is sometimes also referred to as episodic, intermittent, unscheduled, or ad-hoc telework. Situational telework is approved on a case-by-case basis, where the hours worked were not part of a previously approved, ongoing, and regular telework schedule.
Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation; T1-NACI.
Must be able to obtain and maintain a valid State and government driving license.
Up to 10% business travel is required.

In order to qualify, you must meet the experience requirements described below. GS-10 One year of specialized experience which includes: 1) Assisting in the development standard operating procedures for technical work on electronics systems; 2) Researching technical problem areas and the use of test and troubleshooting and diagnostic techniques; AND 3) Researching designs and recommend design change to equipment or parts. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-09).
GS-11 One year of specialized experience which includes: 1) Installing direct digital control (DDC) systems, such as electronic air quality, temperature, and humidity sensors, current transmitters, and variable frequency inverters, 2) Utilizing Energy Management Systems (EMS) software to monitor system performance, and 3) Assisting in the development of standard operating procedures for technical work on electronic systems. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-10).
Education
