  • Execute personnel management functions to support equal opportunity

  • Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
  • This position requires the incumbent be able to obtain and maintain a determination of eligibility for a Secret security clearance or access for the duration of employment. A background investigation and credit check are required.
  • Must comply with Drug Abuse Testing Program requirements as this is a Testing Designated Position (TDP) subject to pre-employment drug screening, and random testing thereafter, to include testing based on reasonable suspicion or an on-duty accident.
  • The duties of this position require the incumbent to possess or obtain and maintain a valid state Driver's License in one of the 50 U.S. states or possessions to operate vehicles.
  • One-year trial/probationary period may be required.
  • One-year supervisory trial/probationary period may be required.
  • This position requires a Noncritical-Sensitive, Secret level security clearance.
  • Back To Basics: (Foundational) This is an Army Acquisition, Logistics and Technology Workforce position. Selectee must meet position requirements for (ENGINEERING AND TECHNICAL MANAGEMENT) certification within 36 months as of entrance on duty.
  • Male applicants born after December 31, 1959, must complete a Pre-Employment Certification Statement for Selective Service Registration.
  • U.S. Citizenship is required. You will be required to provide proof of U.S. Citizenship.
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance.

Qualifications

This is a Direct Hire Authority (DHA) solicitation utilizing the DHA for Domestic Defense Industrial Base (DIB) & Major Range Test Facilities Base (MRTFB) in DoD to recruit and appoint qualified candidates to positions in the competitive service.

In order to qualify, you must meet the specialized experience requirements described below. Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community; student; social). You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. Experience required: To qualify based on your work experience, your resume must describe at least one year of experience which prepared you to do the work in this job.

Specialized Experience: To qualify, applicants must possess one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade/levelNH-02 (GS-08 equivalent).

Specialized experience is defined as: 1). Using varied approaches to resolve or collaborate on projects/programs issues; 2) Presenting informational briefings to keep employees up to date on organizations objectives; 3). Planning functional technical activities for projects/programs; 4). Identifying and pursuing individual/team development opportunities AND 5). Writes, or is a major contributor to, management/technical reports or contractual documents to support the overall mission.
