Perform direct customer service in the punctual and accurate technical screening, filling, and issuing of in-house clinical requisitions for medical/surgical supplies and equipment.
Maintain transaction records and obtains information on material availability, furnishes information to customers regarding stock, and maintains liaison with Material Management Department.
Process inventory adjustment forms when needed and obtains appropriate signatures.
Assist in the coordination of inventory, distribution, and disposal of stock.
Required to pick up and deliver medical specimens including temperature controlled specimens, x-rays, and medical records to the outlying clinics, the MTF, and other various locations.
FEDEX shipping labels and distribution of all FEDEX shipments for all 5 geographically dispersed clinics across the area will be conducted by the supply tech.
Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
A Personnel Security Investigation is required.
