Summary
You will serve as a ELECTRONIC INTEGRATED SYSTEMS MECHANIC in the WEAPONS REPAIR DIVISION, COMMAND AND CONTROL SYSTEMS, EXTERIOR COMMUNICATIONS SYSTEMS REPAIR SHOP of TRIREFFAC KINGS BAY.
Current permanent employees of DoD, DoD Military Spouse Preference (MSP) eligibles, DoD Military Reserve (MR) and National Guard (NG) Technician Preference eligibles and DoD Retained Grade Preference eligibles, and VEOA eligibles.
You will research plans, drawings, sketches, technical manuals, factory specifications, job order specifications, and TRIREFFAC directives to assure that electronic equipment meets specifications.
You will test, troubleshoot, analyze, repair, overhaul, rebuild, modify, align, and calibrate complex integrated electronic equipment.
You will modify electronic equipment by adding, altering, and removing components to standardize or alter the purpose of the equipment or to incorporate new features.
You will repair TRIDENT submarines to meet production goals and command mission.
You will communicate clearly with others verbally and in writing to ensure clarity of mission and objectives.
This position requires a physical and valid U.S. passport.
This position is designated as IT-I, as defined in SECNAV M-2210.30.
This position may require travel worldwide at which time additional medical screening may be required.
