This position requires the incumbent to be able to obtain and maintain a Tier 3 Secret Security Clearance.
This position is covered by the 1996 Lautenberg Amendment to the gun Control Act of 1968. Persons convicted of a misdemeanor or felony crime of domestic violence are not eligible for the position.
Incumbent is subject to a tour of duty to cover a seven day work operation.
Position will require occasional evening and/or holiday hours, to include mandatory overtime as mission dictates.

Current Department of Army Civilian Employees Applying on Time-Limited Assignments
In order to qualify, you must meet the education and/or experience requirements described below. Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community; student; social). You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes: 1) processing ammunition transactions to include adding/deleting stock, posting issues and turn-ins, and transfers; 2) resolving inventory discrepancies through research and analysis; 3) maintaining supply files. 4) determines month resupply requirements and ordering from Joint Munition Command. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the Federal service (GS-05).
Time in Grade Requirement: Applicants who have held a General Schedule (GS) position within the last 52 weeks must have 52 weeks of Federal service at the next lower grade or equivalent (GS-05).

Position may be filled as a time-limited promotion, reassignment or change to lower grade not to exceed (NTE) 13 Months by a current permanent Army employee.
