Advises senior program directors on workforce issues in the areas of planning, recruitment, position classification, performance management, training, and program evaluation including the areas of training and program evaluation.
Develops strategic plans and initiatives to ensure the HR program is positioned to facilitate organizational changes and anticipate and meet resultant requirements.
Evaluates effectiveness of existing workforce and HR procedures and implements change to support customers' HR needs.
Ensures that the training and development needs of the assigned organizations are met.
Oversees the establishment and maintenance of a work environment that promotes professional growth and
development of all staff members.
Analyzes organizational priorities and provides a wide range of liaison services to support administrative aspects for a significant agency component.
Identifies problems requiring changes in current practices.
Identifies problem areas, analyzes situations, recommends viable solutions and prepares reports as required.
Serves as supervisor over assigned staff within the ARC and performs the full range of typical supervisory responsibilities over the subordinate staff.
