Duties

Help
  • You will help conduct analysis for each operation necessary in the collection, compilation, analysis, and interpretation of statistical data to determine appropriate methods and techniques, as well as the format of the end product.
  • You will conduct, analyze, and evaluate special studies as directed, and provide statistical services as required.
  • You will monitor computer produced compilations to ensure accuracy and advise the Branch Head of problem areas and significant finding.
  • You will assist in performing technical, statistical calculations necessary for studies and reports.

Qualifications

You must be currently enrolled or have completed a degree program that includes or included 24 semester hours of mathematics and statistics, of which at least 12 semester hours are/were in mathematics and 6 semester hours are/were in statistics.

This position may be non-competitively converted to a GS-1529-09/11/12 career ladder position after meeting all regulatory requirements (including qualification requirements), and upon the recommendation of management. Promotion is neither implied nor guaranteed.
