This position is located in the Office of Origination under the Office of the Chairman and President of the Export-Import Bank of the United States (EXIM). The central purpose of the Office of Origination is to support inbound financing interest from potential borrowers through geographic and sectoral experts operating within the Business Development and CTEP (China and Transformational Exports) teams. The Origination team is focused on the development of export credit transactions, including loans, guarantees, and insurance, that facilitate U.S. exports, strengthen the competitiveness of American businesses, and support U.S. jobs.

This position supports the programmatic needs of EXIM's Origination leadership, with a primary focus on reporting and data management. The role assists senior Origination leadership by maintaining accurate and up-to-date pipeline information, coordinating with business development managers to collect and validate data, and ensuring the integrity of CTEP authorization figures reflected in year-end reporting. The incumbent also responds to internal reporting and information requests related to the Origination program, including those from the Office of Inspector General and the Office of Congressional Affairs.

Duties include, but are not limited to:

  • Ensures the integrity, accuracy, and completeness of the office's pipeline data, monitoring reporting systems and SharePoint dashboards to provide reliable and actionable information for management decision-making.
  • Serves as the primary liaison for the Office of Inspector General (OIG) and other oversight bodies, ensuring timely, thorough, and accurate responses to audits, reviews, and findings, and tracking corrective actions to resolution.
  • Collaborates closely with Originators and OBAF to maintain up-to-date pipeline reporting, providing guidance, support, and feedback to ensure weekly submissions on SharePoint are complete and compliant with internal standards.
  • Compiles, analyzes, and presents weekly activity reports with the Chief of Staff, highlighting key metrics, trends, and areas requiring management attention, to support strategic planning and operational oversight. Additionally, pull any reporting required for the portfolio as requested by Chairman's office or Office of Congressional Affairs.
  • Identifies opportunities to streamline reporting processes, enhance data quality, and improve communication protocols across the office, ensuring alignment with organizational policies and objectives.
  • Monitors OBAF TRC deal progression and board submissions to ensure CTEP determinations are assigned to Origination staff and completed accurately and on schedule.

Qualifications

Specialized Experience (Credit for Specialized Experience on resume must reflect 40 hours/Full-time per week for each period of work):

GS-13: You must have one (1) year of specialized experience that has equipped you with the particular knowledge, skills, and abilities to successfully perform the duties of the position, and that is typically in or related to the work of the position to be filled. To be creditable, specialized experience must have been equivalent to at least the GS-12 level in the Federal Government or other equivalent pay systems. Specialized experience includes:

  • Experience managing and ensuring the accuracy, completeness, and integrity of program pipeline data, generating reliable reports for leadership and decision-making.
  • Experience coordinating with oversight bodies (e.g., OIG) to provide timely and thorough responses to audits, reviews, and findings.
  • Experience analyzing program operations, monitoring progress toward goals, and ensuring determinations (e.g., CTEP allocations) are properly assigned and completed.
  • Experience working with teams to maintain weekly reporting via SharePoint, preparing activity reports, and supporting leadership in operational and strategic planning.
Education cannot be substituted for experience at the GS-13 grade level.
