Help
  • You will support data management and application development by assisting with requirements analysis, coding, testing, debugging, and maintaining systems that enhance organizational effectiveness.
  • You will help manage civilian and military workforce data, ensuring accuracy and reliability while using modern tools to support reporting and data-driven decision making.
  • You will assist in maintaining databases and applications, including user access, security measures, and data migration, while following established procedures and guidance.
  • You will collaborate with team members and system users to identify data issues, contribute to solutions, and improve overall data processes and system performance.
  • You will support website and workflow maintenance by integrating data across platforms and helping streamline processes to improve efficiency and usability.
  • You will research emerging technologies, contribute to technical documentation, and continuously develop your skills while supporting secure, accurate, and timely data operations.

  • Within the Department of Defense (DoD), the appointment of retired military members within 180 days immediately following retirement date to a civilian position is subject to the provisions of 5 United States Code 3326.

  • This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
  • You will be required to obtain and maintain an interim and/or final security clearance prior to entrance on duty. Failure to obtain and maintain the required level of clearance may result in the withdrawal of a job offer or removal.
  • This position is designated as a Cyber IT/Cybersecurity Workforce position. You must obtain and maintain the credentials as described in SECNAV M-5239.2 for specialty area 421 level Basic within 12 months of appointment.

Qualifications

Your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-04 grade level or NH-01 pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Manage workforce data AND/OR support application development by analyzing requirements, maintaining databases, resolving data issues, AND/OR collaborating with users to improve systems, reporting, AND/OR overall operational effectiveness.
