Duties

Help
  • Supervises, manages, and directs the marketing, operation and development of the installation’s Recycling Program.
  • Operates a fluid, profit generating activity. Coordinates recycling functions with local community organizations, installation tenants to generate recycling opportunities for the installation.
  • Develops and recommends methods, or programs to increase generated revenue. Evaluates the success of the program in terms of waste reduction, cost avoidance, customer satisfaction and revenue generation
  • Develops business plan covering projected recycle programs, staffing requirements, funding levels, equipment needs and facility needs.
  • Establishes and maintains a recycling education program for the installation. Serves as the installation expert and advisor on all issues related to Recycling Program.

  • Work is mainly performed in office environment with occasional exposure to weather conditions.
  • Subject to satisfactory completion of all pre-employment checks in accordance with AR 215-3, para.2 to include a Tier 1 background investigation.
  • Incumbent is required to submit a Financial Disclosure Statement
  • OGE-450, Executive Branch Personnel Confidential Financial Disclosure Report upon entering the position and annually, in accordance with DoD Directive 5500-7-R, Joint Ethics Regulation, dated 30 August 1993.

A qualified candidate must possess the following:
One year of work experience directly related to the duties to be performed.

In addition to the above qualifications, candidates who possess the following qualifications will be considered "Highly Preferred"

Possess a valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL must be submitted at the time of application to be rated Highly Preferred)
