Receive, review, and verify invoices, vouchers and supporting documents for accuracy against corresponding purchase orders or contracts.
Schedule and execute prompt payments to vendors through checks, electronic transfers, or automated systems.
Reconcile vendor statements and accounts payable transactions to ensure accuracy and identify and resolve any discrepancies and ensure timely resolution and address vendor inquiries about payments.
Prepare and inputs journal vouchers into the financial management system to ensure accurate recording of financial transactions within the general ledger.
Conducts detailed monitoring and reconciliation of accounts, comparing data between disparate sources and reports to proactively identify and perform in-depth analyses of adjustments.
Determines pay, process payroll changes, and complete related reports for civilian employees adhering strictly to Defense Civilian Personnel System (DCPS) and Defense Civilian Personnel Data System (DCPDS) guidelines.
