The United States Space Force (USSF) at Cavalier SFS North Dakota is searching for an Anti-Terrorism & Force Protection Program Manager to support the 10 SWS (NH-0080-03, GS-12/13 Equivalent).

Description:
Purpose of position: To implement strategic planning for base anti-terrorism/force protection (AT/FP) programs. To serve as a security specialist, providing information, industrial, and personnel security program functions in support of the installation. Prepares risk assessments and formulates risk mitigation strategies based on current information and intelligence. Performs Contracting Officer Representative (COR) duties for security contractor services.

Mission Delta 4 (MD 4) Mission - To provide strategic and theater missile warning to the United States and our International Partners.


Ideal Candidate:
-Knowledge of a wide range of security specialties, concepts, principles, criteria, requirements, technology, and practices.
-Knowledge of DAF, MAJCOM, and installation/wing missions, functions, and structure.
-Knowledge of security forces programs and governing policies, directives, instructions, and procedures.
-Knowledge of analytical and evaluative methods and techniques to conduct surveys/studies, accomplish projects, and evaluate results for the management and completion of programs.
-Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing.
-Ability to effectively manage and organize various program activities and tasks, and be familiar with administrative requirements of the Station, higher-level installation/Delta, and MAJCOM

  • Must be a U.S Citizen.
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain a Top-Secret /SCI security clearance.
  • Safeguards classified or sensitive budget-related information and/or files.
  • May be required to work overtime on an unscheduled or emergency basis.
  • Eligible for situational telework only, including Emergency and OPM prescribed “Unscheduled Telework”.
  • This position will close after 5 business days or 75 applications, whichever comes first.
  • Employee may be required to perform travel by military or commercial passenger aircraft in the performance of temporary duty assignments.
  • PCS / relocation funding is not authorized.
  • This position is designated as a Testing Designated Position (TDP) under the Air Force Civilian Drug Testing Program.
  • Employee must within 30-days of assuming this position and annually thereafter, file an OGE-450, “Confidential Financial Disclosure Report.” Employee is required to attend annual ethics and procurement integrity training.
  • Subject to Temporary Duty Assignment (TDY): 10 days a year.
  • SFPC: Security Fundamentals Professional Certification required.
  • Additional Security Certification Coding: SAPPC: Security Asset Protection Professional Certification required within 2 years of the established employee EOD.
