This position is covered by the civilian drug abuse testing program.
Incumbent must be physically able to meet the requirements of the Chemical Accident/Incident Response Assistance (CAIRA) Program including wearing of protective personal equipment during CAIRA exercises.
This position requires the completion of a pre-employment Physical Examination and an annual examination thereafter to ensure the continued, required level of physical health and ability or fitness to perform the duties of the position.

Work requires standing, stooping, kneeling, crawling, reaching and often times working from ladders and scaffolds; often lifting objects weighing 50 lbs. and more; and often working in awkward and cramped positions for long periods of time.
Performs work indoors and outdoors, from extreme hot to extreme cold, from clean areas to extra-hot and dirty areas. Incumbent is exposed to possible injury from burns, falls, strains, cuts and bruises.
