Duties

Help
  • Plans and conducts regular and specialized analyses of program implementation and accomplishments for all Office of Field Programs (OFP) Field Office activities, including monitoring and oversight of enforcement and operations activities nationwide.
  • Utilizes expert knowledge of all phases of the charge enforcement process to develop systems and methodology for review and analysis of Field Office effectiveness in delivery of services and mission accomplishment.
  • Identifies and provides effective solutions to serious operational problems which may impede the effectiveness of Field Office operations or have nationwide ramifications.
  • Develops guidelines, detailed workload projections, and establishes specific procedures for evaluation of operational effectiveness related to all aspects of the Field Offices' workload.
  • Directs and manages periodic technical assistance reviews of Field Offices utilizing various sources to identify both achievements and areas of improvement.

Qualifications

For the GS-15: You must have one year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-14 level in federal service. Specialized experience includes the ability to plan, monitor, and evaluate program implementation across multiple offices; develop and apply national policies and procedures; provide authoritative technical guidance on operational and enforcement activities; and lead or supervise staff to improve program outcomes and organizational performance.

Merit promotion applicants must meet time-in-grade requirement as defined in 5 CFR 300, Subpart F. One year at the GS-14 level is required to meet the time-in-grade requirements for the GS- 15 level.

Applicants must meet all eligibility requirements (e.g., time-in-grade and qualification requirements) within 30 days of the closing date specified in the vacancy announcement.
