Duties

Help
  • Provides policy and guidance in the execution of required Cyber Capabilities Integration and Development System (CCIDS) analysis.
  • Implements requirements policies and procedures recommending changes where appropriate.
  • Provides guidance for the databases and mechanisms used to track, staff, and serve as the repository for requirements documentation.
  • Provides recommendations on improvements to the databases to efficiently and effectively manage the evaluation, integration, validation and approval of documents.
  • Conducts requirements impact analysis by reviewing concepts/doctrine to ensure compliance with readiness provisions such as affordability, supportability, and sustainability.
  • Conducts governance research, analyzes submissions and makes recommendations on the supporting documents used for briefings and presentations.
  • Serves as a first line supervisor.
  • Leads selective high-priority, high-risk, and high-payoff initiatives to satisfy USCYBERCOMMAND and Joint Cyber Warfighting Architecture (JCWA) needs.

  • Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
  • Three year trial/probationary period may be required.
  • One-year supervisory probationary period required. A one-year probationary period is required if the selectee has not previously met this requirement.
  • The employee may be recalled to duty, may be required to work other than normal duty hours, which may include evenings, weekends, and/or holidays, and may be required to work overtime.
  • This position is designated Tier 5, Special Sensitive, High Risk and the incumbent is required to obtain and maintain a Top Secret Security Clearance Level with Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) access as a condition of employment.
  • This position is a testing designated position (TDP). The incumbent of this position must agree to submit urinalysis testing on a recurring basis. The incumbent is required to sign a DA Form 5019.
  • The incumbent must meet National Security Agency personnel security requirements outlined in NSA/CSS Policy 5-1.
  • By Congressional Mandate (NDAA FY2007, Section 801), DoD uses four levels of RM Certification: Level A, B, C, and D as specified in the JCIDS Manual. This position requires Level C Certification, as specified in the JCIDS manual.
  • Work may occasionally require travel (TDY) away from the normal duty station on military and/or commercial aircraft up to 10% of the time to accomplish the essential responsibilities of this position.

This position is in the Supervision/Management Work Category at the Senior Work Level within the CES Occupational Structure.

In order to qualify, you must meet the experience requirements described below. Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community; student; social). You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. To qualify based on your experience, your resume must describe one year of specialized experience that demonstrates the possession of knowledge, skills, abilities, and competencies necessary for immediate success in the position. Such experience is typically in or directly related to the work of the position to be filled. Specialized experience would be demonstrated by implementing requirements, policies, and procedures and recommending changes where appropriate; serving as subject matter expert on capability development acquisition policies and procedures for the organization; providing guidance and recommendations on databases for effective integration; planning work and setting short-term and long-term priorities to be accomplished by subordinates.

  • This is a Defense Acquisition Workforce (AWF) position. The employee must meet the DoDI 5000.66 requirements applicable to the Career Category/Functional Area and the Career Level Certification assigned on the sequenced position Conditions of Employment data fields in the header of the PD/PRD.
    • Foundational Career Level Certification or Contracting Professional Certification must be met within 3 years.
    • Practitioner Career Level Certification must be met within 5 years.
    • Advanced Career Level Certification must be met within 4 years.
  • SUPERVISORY - As a supervisor, you must comply with the Army Civilian Education System (CES) course and timeline requirements. The Supervisory Development Course (SDC) must be completed within one year of placement into a supervisory position and then completed as a refresher course every three years.
