Summary

Performs various budget functions involving the formulation, justification, and/or execution of budgets for J5 to include all programs, or projects.
Provides fiscal and regulatory guidance to U.S. Cyber Command (USCYBERCOM) J5 Plans and Policy Directorate (J5), the staff, subordinate commands and Service components.
Budgets and executes funds required for the operations of J5 programs and participates in the USCYBERCOM PPBE process.
Maintains a liaison with USCYBERCOM’SJ8 Budget Office, Army Staff and Army Commands, Joint Staff, Office of the Secretary of Defense (OSD), Defense Finance and Accounting Service (DFAS), other Federal Agencies and Services.
Performs an audit function within theJ5 on all resourcing contracts and documentation to ensure the integrity, propriety, and accuracy of all J5 projects.
Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
Appointment to this position is subject to a three year probationary period unless the appointee has previously met the requirements as described in DoDI 1400.25 V3005, Cyber Excepted Service, Employment and Placement.
Must undergo and successfully complete an initial and periodic Counter-Intelligence Polygraph (CI Poly) examination with No Deception Indicated (NDI).
This is a Drug Testing Designated Position. This position is covered by the Alcohol and Drug Abuse Prevention and Control Program. The incumbent is required to sign a DA Form 5019-R.
Must be able to obtain and maintain a Top Secret with access to SCI Security clearance.
May be recalled to duty, may be required to work other than normal duty hours, which may include evenings, weekends, and/or holidays, and may be required to work overtime.
In accordance with the DoD 8140 policy series, this position is subject to completing Foundational Qualifications in 9 months and completing Residential Qualification requirements in 12 months.
