The primary purpose of this position, SUPERVISORY INTELLIGENCE SPECIALIST, GG-0132-15 is to serve as the Director of Intelligence (DoI) for the Command, Control, Communications, Intelligence, and Networks (C3I&N) Program Executive Office (PEO - C3I&N) providing strategic advice, guidance, and intelligence workforce management recommendations to the PEO and the intelligence functional community.

Help

- Serve as the Director of Intelligence and Acquisition Intelligence Subject Matter Expert/Technical Authority for the PAE Cyber & Networks.
- Provide advanced intelligence analytic/technical support to DoD/USAF Acquisition Programs.
- Exercise supervisory personnel management responsibilities.
- Plan, organize, and oversee Intelligence operations and activities.

Qualifications

In order to qualify, you must meet the quality experience requirements described in the Office of Personnel Management (OPM) Qualification Standards for General Schedule Positions, Administrative and Management Positions.

EXPERIENCE REQUIRED: Your resume must reflect the quality level of experience which demonstrates the possession of the knowledge, skills, abilities, and competencies necessary for successful job performance required for this position. Examples of creditable experience include: The ability to serve as the Director and as the intelligence technical Subject Matter Expert (SME) and Senior Intelligence Analyst/Advisor (SIA) on all Intelligence, Surveillance, Reconnaissance (ISR) and Acquisition Intelligence matters; responsible for the planning, programming, execution, operational direction, and management of all intelligence functions and resources supporting intelligence sensitive programs.


KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES (KSAs): Your qualifications will be evaluated on the basis of your level of knowledge, skills, abilities and/or competencies in the following areas:
1. Knowledge of the intelligence cycle and intelligence policy and guidance, and the structure, organization, roles and missions, and inter-relationships.
2. Knowledge of acquisition principles, policy, and guidance and the role intelligence plays throughout a weapons system's life-cycle; Acquisition Intelligence analysis mission and strategy; and the roles and responsibilities of field intelligence offices in support of research laboratories, acquisition program offices, and life-cycle management, nuclear, sustainment, and system testing enterprises.
3. Knowledge of a comprehensive range of intelligence research methods, techniques, and practices and advanced analytical principles, concepts, and methods used to identify and analyze complex multi-source intelligence information to produce detailed intelligence capabilities and threat assessments, identify intelligence deficiencies, and advocate for customer requirements.
4. Skill in conducting unbiased complex research, identifying appropriate available systems/data sources, and producing intelligence requirement assessments that answer specific tasks to link and leverage agency capabilities in support of consumers, customers, and clients.
5. Skill in managing people and meeting mission objectives; communicating clearly, concisely, and with technical accuracy, orally and in writing, as well as work in a professional manner with peers, management, subordinates, contractors, academia, and other agencies to work out solutions to problems, prepare professional level documents and studies, and deliver General Officer (executive) level information and decision briefs.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:
* Drug Testing: This position has been designated by the Air Force as a Testing Designated Position (TDP) under the Air Force Civilian Testing Program. Employee must pass initial and periodic short notice drug testing. Illegal drug use by employees in sensitive positions presents a clear threat to the mission of the Air Force, national security, and public safety.

* Position is designated special-sensitive and incumbent must be able to obtain and retain a TOP SECRET (TS) security clearance with access to Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI). A non-disclosure agreement must be signed.

PART-TIME OR UNPAID EXPERIENCE: Credit will be given for appropriate unpaid and or part-time work. You must clearly identify the duties and responsibilities in each position held and the total number of hours per week.

VOLUNTEER WORK EXPERIENCE: Refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service Programs (i.e., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community; student and social). Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge and skills that can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment. You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience.
