This position is located in the Office of General Counsel (OGC), DEC (Departmental Enforcement Center), Operations Division. OGC is the chief legal office of the Department, the principal legal adviser to the Secretary and staff of HUD, and the head of the Departmental Enforcement Center. OGC provides legal opinions, advice, and services with respect to all Departmental programs and activities, and assists in the development of HUD programs and policies. OGC also provides functional legal counsel on defensive and affirmative litigation and the development of legislation and regulations.
As a/an Supervisory Enforcement Analyst Operations Division Director, you will:
Identify the problems and resolution strategies for DEC workload program referrals.
Provide program oversight within the Operations Divisions.
Make managerial, technical, and analytical oversight decisions required for successful program management and implementation.
Exercise subject matter expertise, oversight control and leadership.
The official duty station for this position will be in Atlanta, Georgia; Chicago, Illinois; Fort Worth, Texas; Los Angeles, California; New York, New York; Washington, District of Columbia.
Washington D.C. is among the possible duty locations for this position. The Washington, D.C. office is anticipated to relocate to Alexandria, Virginia. Applicants selected for the Washington, D.C. duty location may be required to report to the Washington, D.C. office upon entry on duty and subsequently transition to reporting to the Alexandria, Virginia location.
Candidates will be selected for a job assigned to one of the official duty stations listed in this announcement. Failure to report to duty at the location for which the candidate is selected may be grounds for a disciplinary action, including removal.
Key Requirements:
Must be U.S. Citizen or U.S. National.
A probationary or trial period may be required. Continued employment is contingent upon supervisory certification that continued employment will benefit the Federal Service; the certification will occur no less than 30 days before the end of the probationary/trial period.

Qualifications
You must meet the following requirements within 30 days of the closing date of this announcement.
Specialized Experience: For the GS-15, you must have one year (52 full weeks) of specialized experience at a level of difficulty and responsibility equivalent to the GS-14 grade level in the Federal service. Specialized Experience for this position includes:
- Leading or supervising teams who directly oversaw housing programs (i.e. Community Planning & Development grants, Operating Subsidy, Capital Fund, Section 8 vouchers, Family Self Sufficiency, homeownership, Community and Supportive Services, or housing development and financing); AND
- Managing, analyzing, or implementing major policy development, program and legislative initiatives, impacting the full range of multifamily housing Community Planning & Development, and Public Housing programs.; AND
- Analyzing issues/problems, developing strategies, and presenting solutions to senior management and high-level officials.
The experience may have been gained in either the public, private sector or volunteer service. One year of experience refers to full-time work; part-time work is considered on a prorated basis. Time-in-Grade: In addition to the above requirements, you must meet the following time-in-grade requirement, if applicable:
