INTERNAL TO MWR SPECIALTY RETAIL GREAT LAKES, IL
Facility Operations:
25% I. Incumbent assists Specialty Retail Managers with daily facility operations. Responsible for ensuring appropriate food inventories are maintained, stock is properly rotated, physical inventories are performed monthly, and orders are placed for food and beverage supplies for each facility on a recurring basis, as directed by the facility manager. Incumbent ensures that temperature log sheets are being maintained in accordance with food and sanitation procedures.
25% 2. Assures that all facilities are operating as scheduled and according to policies and procedures prescribed by the manager. Leads the direction of all staff on assigned shift during the absence of the facility manager. Is required to cover cashier shifts as needed.
10% 3. Incumbent helps identify and resolve problems or deficiencies in programs, activities, and patron needs. Incumbent works with manager, recommends and implements changes within the framework of budget limitations. Develops and submits to the manager recommendations to improve or modify service.
Administrative Functions:
20% I. Incumbent runs facility reports, make changes to the POS register system, and trains new hires on the proper operation of the POS System to include the recording of sales. Incumbent maintains inventory cost sheets for each facility to track price changes for end month inventories. Incumbent also ensures all funds are secured according to operating procedures, and prepares DARS and cash drops as needed.
10% 2. Incumbent makes change for the cashiers as needed from assigned master change fund. Inspects facilities and reports any disorderly findings to facility manager. Ensures that every employee maintains their assigned work station in a clean and sanitary condition.
5% 3. Incumbent is involved as the timekeeper in Kronos. Helps facility manager maintain and correct employee timecards, enter approved leave, and in the absence of the manager, submit payroll as required. Provides administrative support in the central office to include answering vendor and patron questions as required, relaying employee concerns to the manager, and dealing with internal departments, including but not limited to, accounting and other area managers.
5% 4. Perform other related duties as assigned.

Must possess a working knowledge of food service industries, including some experience in administration and knowledge of proper sanitation requirements gained through actual experience.
Must become proficient with RecTrac Point of Sale and reporting system.
Must be alert for continuing improvements, be tactful, possess considerable initiative, and be willing and capable of assuming complete responsibility.
Must be dependable, courteous and friendly and be able to effectively and harmoniously work with employees, supervisors and patrons.
Must possess a valid driver's license at all times.
