Independently perform a variety routine to complex diagnostic radiographic procedures.
Receive patients, explains method of procedure, positions patients, selects and sets technical factors, sets up and adjust accessory equipment required, and makes exposures necessary for the requested procedures.
Instruct students participating in the radiologic technologist program.
Performs procedures such as Upper and Lower GI studies, Intravenous Pyelograms, Cystography, Hystereosalpingography, Arthrography, Cholangiograms, Sinograms, Fistulagrams.
Perform duties as a Quality Control Technologist, responsible for reviewing all radiographs performed by them or in the department for diagnostic quality prior to interpretation by the radiologist.
Schedules patients for radiology appointments using computerized system.
Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
