First-year (second semester) and second and third-year law students with strong academic record.
Legal Programs assists in the articulation, development, and promulgation of policy which comports with the overall goals of the USAOs, EOUSA, and DOJ, and provides legal and management support, assistance and advice, and policy guidance to the USAOs across a variety of program areas, including: affirmative civil enforcement, appellate, asset forfeiture, bankruptcy, border and immigration, child exploitation, civil defensive litigation, cybercrime, eDiscovery, financial litigation, health care fraud, human trafficking, narcotics, Native American issues, victim witness, violent crime, and white collar crime.
Legal Programs coordinates all aspects of these programs, including funding, legislation, administration, outreach, and assessment. Legal Programs also develops and promotes policies and procedures to improve the effectiveness of these programs and serves as a resource for the USAOs on issues affecting the programs. In addition, Legal Programs provides advice and support for various subcommittees and working groups of the Attorney General's Advisory Committee.
