Duties

Help

Responsible for scheduling and assisting with comprehensive digital marketing strategies in support of a variety of MCCS program functions. 

Must possess strong computer knowledge with the ability to use multiple cloud-based applications such as or similar to Microsoft Suite, UCView Digital Signage Software, Daktronics Venus Control for LED signs, and experience with Wrike Project Management. Oversees and organizes the scheduling of content for various digital advertising platforms. Responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and responding to technical issues and inquiries across multiple locations ensuring minimal downtime. Assists with procurement purchases, renewals, and replacement of equipment. Provides comprehensive after-action campaign reports to analyze campaign results. Identifies and recommends best practices for platforms and processes. Maintains Consolidated Memorandum Receipt or asset inventory for the department. Assists in creating and sending patron and internal Marketing emails. 

Provides Extraordinary Customer Service with an emphasis on courtesy.  Assists customers and communicates positively in a friendly manner. Acknowledges customers, smiles and makes eye contact.  Asks questions to determine, verify and solve problems.  Checks for satisfaction on the quality of goods and services.  Takes action to solve problems quickly.  Alerts higher-level supervisor or proper point of contact for help when problems arise. 

Adheres to safety regulations and standards.  Uses required safety equipment and observes safe work procedures.  Promptly reports any observed workplace hazards, and any injury, occupational illness, and/or property damage resulting from workplace mishaps to the immediate supervisor.

Adheres to established standards of actively supporting the principles of the EEO program and prevention of sexual harassment. 

Performs other related duties as assigned.

EVALUATIONS:

Qualifications

Minimum of three years related background OR a combination of education and experience that demonstrates experience directly related to the above duties. Strong computer skills.  Demonstrated experience in the use of a variety of informational marketing and media methods such as graphic arts, design, illustration, photography, computers, live streaming, etc.  Must have strong written and oral communication skills. Must possess solid organizational and detail-orientated expertise and the ability to handle numerous projects at one time.  Must be able to identify the characteristics of target audiences and determine the most effective, sources, methods, and techniques to use in reaching patrons. Ability to analyze the results of information-gathering techniques, surveys, inquiries, etc. to improve upon existing systems. Must be able to travel to regional Marine Corps installations to support operational and business needs.  This is a white-collar position where occasional lifting up to 30 lbs. may be required.
