Duties

Help

  • Manages the Electrical Program for both campuses, ensuring safe, reliable, and code-compliant operation of all electrical infrastructure.
  • Supervises a team of Electrician Leaders and Journey-level Electricians across two campuses.
  • Plans, assigns, and evaluates work; sets priorities; develops and evaluates performance standards; manages time and attendance, approves leave, and initiates personnel actions.
  • Develops and implements long-range plans for system upgrades, modernization, and energy efficiency improvements.
  • Oversee the operation, maintenance, and repair of: High- and low-voltage distribution systems; Emergency power systems (generators, ATS, UPS); Critical systems (ORs, ICUs, ERs, nurse call, isolation power); Lighting, fire alarm interfaces, photovoltaic systems, and grounding systems.
  • Serves as the Lead Contracting Officer Representative (COR) for all electrical maintenance service contracts.
  • Develops scopes of work, reviews contractor performance, and ensures compliance with safety and technical standards.
  • Serves as the primary electrical technical advisor to Engineering leadership.
  • Collaborates with the Planning and Design Section to review electrical design specifications and submittals for new construction and renovation projects.
  • CMMS and Data-Driven Maintenance Management: Oversee the use of Computer Maintenance Management System (CMMS) for all electrical work order management.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Work Schedule: Monday - Friday 7:00am to 3:30pm (Subject to change based on the needs of the Agency)

EXPERIENCE: A specific length of training and experience is not required, but you must show evidence of training or experience of sufficient scope and quality of your ability to do the work of this position. Evidence which demonstrates you possess the knowledge, skills, and ability to perform the duties of this position must be supported by detailed descriptions of such on your resume.
