You will serve as a GG-0132-13 Intelligence Specialist for the Marine Corps Cyberspace Warfare Group (MCCYWG) at U S MARINE FORCES CYBERSPACE COMMAND in Fort Meade, MD. As a Cyber Intelligence Analyst, you will conduct analysis and provide technical advice on digital network intelligence and utilize signals intelligence (SIGINT), open-source research, and other data from digital networks to build target knowledge and produce technical reports in support of full-spectrum cyberspace operations.

  • You will conduct complex digital network intelligence analysis in support of U.S. Marine Corps, Joint, and National intelligence and cyberspace requirements.

  • You will develop and/or provide input to target and/or technical requirements and define target sets based on the customer's requirements.
  • You will use a wide variety of collection methods/systems and available automated data processing capabilities to ensure a complete and thorough analysis of all pertinent data.
  • You will prepare and present briefings to senior leadership.
  • You will provide mentoring and guidance to junior analysts.

Qualifications

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GG/GS-12 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector, such as:

1. Execute collection using appropriate collection strategies and within the priorities established through the collection management process.
2. Identify intelligence gaps, initiate requests to guide tasking, and conduct collection management activities.
3. Monitor and carry out daily duties such as the utilization and employment of signals intelligence (SIGINT), open-source research, and other data from digital networks to build target knowledge and produce technical reports.
4. Oversee and maintain awareness of emerging technologies and advancements in trends and tactics conveys intelligence gained from target development to relevant parties.
5. Utilize technical knowledge and provide guidance on a wide variety of collection methods/systems and available automated data processing capabilities to assure a complete and thorough analysis of all pertinent data.

ry cyber work role of 112 (Mission Assessment Specialist - All-Source Analysis), and an additional cyber work role of 111 (All-Source Analyst - All-Source Analysis), and as a condition of employment incumbents of the position are required to comply with the DON Cyber IT/CSWF Program requirements of SECNAV M-5239.2, which include:

-- 1. Earn and maintain appropriate credentials from the Cyber IT/CSWF Qualification Matrix (described in SECNAV M-5239.2) associated with the specialty area and level commensurate with the scope of major assigned duties for the position to which you are assigned, and;
-- 2. Participate in a continuous learning program as described in SECNAVINST 1543.2. A minimum of 40 hours of Cyber IT/CSWF related continuous learning annually documented in a current individual development plan signed by both the employee and supervisor.
