About the Position: This position located at Redstone Arsenal, AL serves as the Supv Acquisition Management Analyst. This is a DoD Civilian Acquisition Workforce Personnel Demonstration Project (AcqDemo) position in the NH-04 broadband with an advertised pay range from the lowest equivalent GS grade 14 Step 1 to the highest equivalent GS grade 15 Step 10 in the broadband.

Help
  • Develops strategic acquisition plans to align organizational objectives with Technical Center mission requirements.
  • Monitors program performance data to assess compliance with established quality standards.
  • Reviews acquisition policies to ensure adherence to regulatory requirements.
  • Assigns work to subordinate staff to balance workload distribution.
  • Coordinates cross-functional planning efforts to ensure acquisition initiatives remain consistent with organizational priorities.
  • Prepares status reports for leadership to communicate program resource needs.

  • This is an Army Acquisition, Logistics and Technology Workforce position. Selectees must meet position requirements for (Professional) level, Contracting certification, within 36 months as of entrance on duty.
  • This position requires the incumbent be able to obtain and maintain a determination of eligibility for a Top-Secret security clearance or access for the duration of employment.
  • This position is subject to a pre-employment screening, and random testing thereafter, to include testing based on reasonable suspicion and testing due to direct involvement with an on-duty accident.
  • One-year probationary period may be required.

In order to qualify, you must meet the experience requirements described below. Specialized experience is defined as experience: 1) Applying advanced strategic planning principles to shape long-range acquisition goals, 2) Overseeing complex program activities to ensure alignment with established performance measures, 3) Executing acquisition functions by interpreting regulatory requirements, and 4) Leading multidisciplinary teams through development of personnel to support organizational effectiveness. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (NH-03).
