Performs and/or assists in operation and maintenance of recreational facilities. Assists the Community Center Manager with daily operations to include generating memos, reports, letters, e-mails, and correspondence to obtain materials. Works night and weekend shifts as required. Assists in the daily planning, development, and administration of programs to enhance personal and professional development, performing arts, leisure and recreation, family and life skills, and Community Support Flight special events. Provides support for 5 Card Theater operations to include assisting with reservations, movie showing, and private functions. Inform patrons of all rules and regulations established for the facility. Use tact and diplomacy to enforce rules as necessary. Maintains daily financial cashier reports, end-of-month inventory reports, equipment account files, budget files, and prepares document packages and reference material to assist customers. Operates cash register, accepts payments, makes change, and issues receipts. Prepares daily cashier's report and makes deposits at Accounting Office (AO) each day. Accesses Air Force Services Financial Management System (AFSFMS) Oracle System and Services Tools for Activity Reporting & Tracking (START) to prepare daily financial reports and end-of-month inventory accounting. Accesses Internet-based Purchasing System (IBPS) to help Manager process contractor payments. Accesses Orbital payment system to input and update patron accounts and pulls reports to deposit payments received. Identifies patrons who are orbital declined, and contacts patrons listed on decline report to clear variances. Maintains fixed assets account for Community Commons and 5 Card Theater. Assist with balancing the Community Commons and 5 Card Theater accounts at the end of each month to include inventory and producing all end-of-month reports required. Helps manager create and update brochures. Inspects facility and grounds to ensure safety hazards are removed or reported to be corrected. Helps custodial workers clean bathrooms, multi-purpose rooms, lobby, and remainder of facility when needed, and custodial workers are not on shift. Maintains common areas and offices in an orderly and tidy appearance. Maintains the assigned automated external defibrillators (AED) with knowledge on how to use the equipment; assigned as alternate manager of the AED target responder program. Assigned as primary equipment custodian and helps manager keep track of the equipment and accomplish the annual inventory. Assigned as alternate facility manager and helps manager enter and keep track of work tasks.

Qualifying Experience:
Must have experience in general clerical work which provides knowledge that the applicant has demonstrated the ability to perform at the grade level of the position. Must possess superb customer service skills in dealing with the public and the ability to exercise tact and professionalism. Must be able to read, write, and speak English with the ability to communicate both orally and in writing. Must also possess experience which provides knowledge of cash handling procedures and sales operations such as receipt, disbursement, examination, deposit, and use of cash accountability control methods. Must have computer skills and knowledge of programs such as Microsoft Word, Excel, Power Point, Outlook, and Google Suite applications.
