Summary

About the Position: This position is assigned to a Product Office within Project Director Sensor-Aerial Intelligence, located at Aberdeen Proving Ground, MD.
Coordinate procedures relating to financial management, acquisition, implementation, distribution, and logistical support for the hardware, software, supplies, and services required by the project.
Plan, conduct, and direct highly complex reviews and initiate reports which are provided to higher headquarters and other commands with recommendations on the best courses of action for the project.
Review and/or develop regulatory documentation specific to the assigned project and recommend appropriate actions for leadership approval.
Project major project milestones and events necessary to complete the strategic implementation of the acquisition project.
Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
Male applicants born after December 31, 1959, must complete a Pre-Employment Certification Statement for Selective Service Registration.
One year trial/probationary period may be required.

This is an Army Acquisition, Logistics and Technology Workforce position.
Selectees must meet position requirements for certification at Level III (Advanced) in the Acquisition Career Field Program Management) within 48 months of entrance on duty.
This position has a Temporary Duty (TDY) or business travel requirement of up to 20% of the time.
The duties of this position require submission of, on an annual basis, OGE 450, Confidential Financial Disclosure Report.
This position requires the incumbent be able to obtain and maintain a determination of eligibility for a Top-Secret security clearance or access for the duration of employment.
This position is subject to a pre-employment screening, and random testing thereafter, to include testing based on reasonable suspicion and testing due to direct involvement with an on-duty accident.
This is a Term position intended to last two year.

1) Provides guidance to external organizational stakeholders on decisions that impact acquisition projects; 2) Demonstrates knowledge of the agency's acquisition process to provide oversight for complex acquisition programs; and 3) Prepares briefings and reports for senior leaders to identify issues and progress in issue resolution.
