THIS IS A NATIONAL GUARD TITLE 32 EXCEPTED SERVICE POSITION.

This position is located with the Army Aviation Support Facility 2 in Redrock, Arizona. The purpose of this position is to function as the logistics manager of the organization responsible for accomplishment and oversight of logistics plans, activities, and actions.

  • ARIZONA ARMY NATIONAL GUARD MEMBERSHIP IS REQUIRED. Prior to appointment into this position, selectee must be a current member of the Arizona Army National Guard, in a military organization supported by the (Organization).
  • This is an excepted service position that requires membership in a compatible military assignment in the employing state's National Guard, required prior to the effective date of placement.
  • Selectee will be required to wear the military uniform.
  • Acceptance of an excepted service position constitutes concurrence with these requirements as a condition of employment.
  • Applicants who are not currently a member of the National Guard must be eligible for immediate membership and employment in the National Guard in the military grade listed in this announcement.
  • Males born after 31 December 1959 must be registered for Selective Service.
  • Federal employment suitability as determined by a background investigation.
  • May be required to successfully complete a trial period.
  • Participation in direct deposit is mandatory.
  • Incumbent must possess and maintain a current state driver’s license.
  • Recruitment, Relocation, or Retention Incentive may be offered and is subject to availability of funds.
  • THIS POSITION SUBJECT TO ROTATING SHIFTS

Qualifications

Military Grades:
Enlisted: E-5/ SGT to E-6/SSG
Officer Candidate: OCS


Compatible Military Assignments:
Enlisted: 92A,92Y, or 88M
Officer Candidate: 09S

SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE:
Must possess at least 24 months of specialized experience, education, or training equivalent to at least the next lower grade level. Must have experience, education, or training which involved detailed knowledge of organizations and their functions in logistical support (i.e, supply, maintenance, quality assurance, facilities). Experience planning and organizing work assignments).

Education

You must provide transcripts or other documentation to support your Educational claims. To receive credit for Education, you must provide documentation of proof that you meet the Education requirements for this position.

1.Ability to develops, implements and evaluates the logistic policies for the organization.

2. Ability to provides guidance and assistance to ensure command programs have been implemented and evaluates their effectiveness in subordinate elements.

3. Ability to ensures compliance with the command supply discipline program, command maintenance discipline program, and other directed command inspection programs.

4. Ability to provides guidance and funds management for all decentralized logistic funds.

5. Ability to provides technical guidance and assistance to all organizational logistic personnel pertaining to the accountability of all property assigned to the organization.
