Advise managers and program officials on management or program-related policies and procedures.
Review and evaluate established managerial and program policies and procedures to determine gaps where additional guidance is needed.
Formulate and recommend additional policies or procedures, or modifications to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of current managerial or program operations.
Develop studies that fully address specific problems, issues and challenges that impact on the effective and efficient delivery of program services.

Minimum Qualifications:
To qualify at the GS-12 grade level, you must have at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level, which must include the following experience: advising managers and program officials on management and program-related policies and procedures to identify gaps and recommend improvements; analyzing operations to ensure compliance with applicable laws and agency requirements; and developing or revising internal operating procedures to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community, student, social). Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment. You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience.
