This job has a screen-out element which will be used to determine minimum eligibility for this job. The Screen-out Element for this position is: 1) Assisting with daily operation and operational maintenance of sewage lift and pumping stations; 2) Reading system maps, located valves, operated valves and pumps. and 3) Controlling the flow of water from various pumping stations, increasing or decreasing according to stations demands.
Requires State of Mississippi Class B Water Works Operators Certification, however, management will consider candidates with a Class C Water Works Operators certification, if Class B certification can be obtained within one year of hire.
Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., professional, philanthropic, religious, spiritual, community, student, social).
