  • You will Supervises the daily performance of the Cybersecurity section personnel to include Civil Service and Marines.
  • You will be responsible for the daily supervision of subordinates by providing guidance, resolving conflicts and grievances, setting daily task orders, recommending selections to fill vacancies
  • You will Performs all functions involved in the daily execution required for the defense of network services throughout the AOR by providing oversight, coordination, and prioritization of Cybersecurity daily operations.
  • You will develop a variety of correspondence e.g. command orders, directives, standard operating procedures, report briefing, point papers, positions paper, and talking papers, etc.).
  • You will Implements and oversees a cybersecurity workforce strategy that addresses cyber workforce training and development requirements outlined by DOD policies and guidelines

  • This position may require travel to places within and outside the contiguous United States which could include remote or isolated sites. You may be required to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.

  • You will be required to obtain and maintain a current SOFA driver's license.
  • Will earn and maintain appropriated credentials from the Cyber IT/CSWF Qualification Matrix.
  • Will participate in a continuous learning program; a minimum of 40 hours Cyber IT/CSFW related.
  • You will be required to obtain and maintain an interim and/or final TOP SECRET Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) security clearance prior to entrance on duty.
  • This is a Mission Essential position. You will be required to ensure organization or facility continuity of operations and/or completion of tasks that are considered essential to the mission designated by a local or command decision
  • The incumbent of this position is required to obtain and maintain a Status of Forces Agreement (SOFA) driver’s license.
  • This position is subject to work an uncommon tour, including nights, weekends, and holidays to meet mission requirements. Overtime or night differential pay and/or unusual duty hours may be required.
  • Successful completion of a pre-employment drug test (including marijuana) is required. A tentative offer of employment will be rescinded if you fail to report to the drug test appointment or fail the test. You will be subject to random testing.
  • This position has been designated as a Cyber Workforce position in the DoD Cyber Workforce Framework (DCWF) the incumbent is required to maintain qualifications in accordance with DON Cyber Workforce Program requirements of SECNAV M-5239.2.
  • The incumbent participates in a continuous learning (CL) program as described in SECNAVINST 5239.20A and SECNAV M-5239.2. An annual 20 hour minimum of Cyber Workforce

Qualifications

Your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of Specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-12 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Ability to provide oversight, coordination, and prioritization of daily operations, reporting, systems compliancy, cybersecurity workforce, information assurance, cybersecurity planning, and systems accreditation. Capable of effectively responding to administrative, planning, and operational tasking. Able to handle personnel management and supervision, development of processes and procedures.

Conditions of Employment cont.

The incumbent must obtain the required credentials within 12 months of appointment and maintain those credentials as described in SECNAV M-5239.2 for DCWF role of Program Manager, Work Role Code: 801/Program Manager, Work Level: Senior. Advanced Proficiency Level - this role requires an individual to have an in-depth understanding of advanced concepts and processes and experience applying these with little to no guidance. An individual must be able to provide guidance to others; and the work must be performed as a primary or additional work role.
