This position is located at McCoy's which includes Dining, Sports Bar, Bowling, Recreation and Leisure Activities and Conference and Catering Spaces. McCoy's Team provides high-quality service and a place to unwind for the Ft McCoy Community.

Duties

Help
  • Performs a variety of clerical and administrative duties in support of the operation. Establishes, maintains or controls files and logs.
  • Applies knowledge of the organization, its functions and regulations to carry out a variety of administrative functions (e.g. personnel, accounting, budget, purchasing, logistics and supply, GPC Credit Card holder, transportation, security, etc.).
  • Receives telephone calls and visitors, provides required information from own knowledge or office files or refers callers to appropriate person. Follows up as required.
  • Types various correspondence and reports. Tabulates statistical data into final format. Gathers data and documentation for special projects and prepares briefing support materials.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

  • Uniforms and name tags are provided and required.
  • Duties may involve working both indoors and outdoors.
  • Must be able to work an uncommon tour of duty. Operation is 7 days a week. Incumbent will be required to work days, nights, weekends, and holidays. Shift may vary due to mission.

Qualifications

Resumes must be two pages (or less). Resumes should clearly demonstrate the applicant's relevant experience, skills, knowledge and abilities as they pertain to this position.

A qualified candidate must possess the following:

  • Basic computer and math skills, and clerical and administrative work experience which indicates the ability to perform the duties described above.
  • Must be able to type 40 words per minute.
  • Must be highly skilled in written and verbal communication.
  • Must be proficient in Microsoft Windows, Word, Excel, and other software as required.

In addition to the above qualifications, candidates who possess the following qualifications will be considered "Highly Preferred" or "Best Qualified":
  • Possess a minimum of one year accounting experience (examples include: knowledge of financial statements, use of accounting software, analyzing/interpreting financial data, etc.)

  • This job is part of a pay-banded system. Sunday premium pay for regularly scheduled employees and night differential pay may be authorized by the Garrison Commander.
  • Non-foreign overseas allowances, cost of living (COLA), and differentials will not be paid, contingent upon eligibility.
