Duties

Help
  • You will serve as management advisor using a high-level of discernment and judgment to address a wide variety of interrelated subject matter requiring specialized ability to correlate and corroborate information into reports and records.
  • You will execute program plans to achieve milestones and requirements for the full scope of activities associated with acquisition issues.
  • You will provide long range plans for the cost, performance, schedule of diverse teams and acquisition efforts within the scope of assigned areas; exercises significant judgment and experience to establish priorities.
  • You will establish and maintain working relationships with internal and external stakeholders to coordinate projects concerning the development, installation, integration, and testing, relative to the acquisition process.
  • You will brief senior leadership and make recommendations based on findings.
  • You will prepare coordinated reports, presentations and briefings in support of program actions.
  • You will analyze requirements to develop program reporting including the specifications, data gathering and analytical techniques, and evaluation methodology.
  • You will lead studies, surveys, reviews, and/or research projects to evaluate program accomplishments, effectiveness, and/or compliance with meeting specific goals, objectives, rules, and regulations.
  • You will develop evaluation plans, metrics, procedures, and methodology as a result of studies performed.
  • You will ensure program schedules are met within workforce and fiscal resources.

  • This is a Non-Key Security Cooperation Workforce (SCW) position and requires a DoD SCW Certification. Selectee must obtain and maintain certification within prescribed timeframes. SCW level required: INTERMEDIATE

Qualifications

Your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to theNH-02 pay band (GS-11 equivalent) in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: planning, analyzing, and evaluating the effectiveness of line and operating training programs, complemented by expertise in Navy Acquisition program management, a strong foundation in program management principles, and hands-on experience as an instructor and staff member for the Submarine force or in a surface nuclear environment at a learning site or learning center.

This position is part of the Department of Defense Civilian Acquisition Workforce Personnel Demonstration Project. The NH-03 broadband level encompasses positions equivalent to GS-12 and GS-13.


This position is covered by the Department of Defense Priority Placement Program.

Several vacancies may be filled.
