As a Policy Analyst, GS-0301-13/14, your typical work assignments may include the following:
Provides information within ONDCP and within the federal government pertaining to specific initiatives identified by the political leadership as key to achieving the President's National Drug Control Strategy.
Coordinates with Federal/State/local/Tribal/territorial agencies as well as stakeholders in the private sector, academic institutions, and non-governmental organizations in order to enhance communications and coordination between and among these groups and ONDCP.
Plans, develops and drafts annual reports to Congress, as required by ONDCP's reauthorization.
Provides strategic planning analysis for senior officials as it relates to and drafts related portions of the National Drug Control Strategy and counter narcotics border strategies

Qualifications
MINIMUM QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS: All applicants must meet the qualification requirements outlined below to be considered minimally qualified for this position. The qualification requirements are in accordance with the Office of Personnel Management Qualification Standards.
TIME-IN-GRADE REQUIREMENTS: Applicants possess one full year (52 weeks) of specialized experience at or equivalent to the next lower grade level or pay band in Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector.

In order to qualify at the GS-14 level, you must meet the following minimum qualification requirement: One year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-13 grade level in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private sector that includes all of the following: Coordinating with Federal/State/local/Tribal/territorial agencies on drug control policy and programs; Providing analysis on initiatives regarding specific drugs, and/or strategic drug trafficking initiatives; Planning, developing, and drafting of annual reports to Congress; Coordinating data for the development and drafting of complex budget reports and budget justifications.
