Duties

Help
  • Serves as the Special Events Coordinator and Production Manager for Army Entertainment, delivers programs at the Installation – garrison level.
  • Provides and supports Major Command events, responsible for the planning and executing of community special events that respond to the needs and interests of the military/civilian population.
  • Responsible for duties of assigned and attached military, civilian and contractor personnel in accomplishing production and program missions.
  • Requires innovative approaches and adaptations due to limited resources and diverse range of the population's interest and needs.
  • Provides advice to program managers and technicians in support to ensure quality standards are met in tour management. Provides project direction and recommends training for Military and civilian technical support personnel assigned to the program.

  • A one-year probationary period may be required.
  • Must be willing and able to work evenings, weekends, and Special MWR events. Willing and able to work rotating shifts to include nights, weekends and holidays.
  • Incumbent must be able to obtain an Official No-fee Passport.
  • Work requires the use of physical exertion when preparing for and overseeing events. Must be able to lift and carry light to moderately heavy items.
  • Privately-owned vehicle's (POV) must be registered in Poland. You will be required to register on the Polish economy and obtain insurance. Some insurance companies may not provide coverage for Poland

Qualifications

A qualified candidate must possess the following:

-Work experience and/or education related to the duties to be performed.
-Work requires the use of physical exertion when preparing for and overseeing events.
-Must be able to lift and carry light to moderately heavy items.
-Experience in travel office booking cruises, tours, etc is highly desirable.

In addition to the above qualifications, candidates who possess the following qualifications will be considered "Highly Preferred" or "Best Qualified":

-Possess experience of NAF and/or APF resource management and fund execution?
-Possess three years knowledge and experience in facility and non-facility based special events operations and management?
-Possess experience to develop and write staff papers, formulate plans and present briefings?

PCS Costs
  • Payment of Permanent Change of Station (PCS) costs is authorized based on a determination that a PCS move in the Government's interest.
Allowances and Differentials
  • This job is part of a pay-banded system. Sunday premium pay for regularly scheduled employees and night differential pay may be authorized by the Garrison Commander.
  • Foreign overseas allowances, post allowance, and differentials will be paid, contingent upon eligibility. These allowances may include Living Quarters Allowance (LQA), Temporary Quarters Subsistence Allowance (TQSA) and requires a Transportation Agreement in accordance (IAW) the provisions of the Department of States Standardized Regulations (DSSR).
