What to Expect

  • Loads and unloads heavy boxes or recreational equipment, bulky supplies, and materials to and from trucks, dollies, cleans and sanitizes recreational equipment, operates a truck, tractor, or dolly, move and operate lawn equipment and recreational equipment.

  • Cleans, sanitizes, and maintains equipment.

  • Washes and waxes cars and trucks by hand or using powered buffer.

  • Runs hand and powered (walking type) lawnmowers, which do not require very heavy physical effort.

  • Moves heavy boxes or cartons by hand, hand-truck, or dolly.

  • Prolonged standing, stooping, bending, kneeling, and working in tiring and uncomfortable positions.

  • May shovel snow, sand, or dirt from sidewalks.

  • Work may be performed outdoors, occasionally in bad weather, involving exposure to extreme temperatures.

  • Indoor working conditions may expose the worker to drafts, noise, dust and dirt and require standing on concrete floors for long periods.

  • Exerts moderately heavy physical effort in doing such tasks as frequently lifting and carrying moderately heavy objects, pushing heavy furniture, loaded carts, etc.

  • Restocks supplies in recreational facilities.

  • Performs other related duties as required.

What are we looking for?

  • Knowledge and skill sufficient to run and operate lawn equipment, variety of cleaning equipment, hatchets, saws, hand tools, and other tools requiring the same level of knowledge and skill.

  • Knowledge and skill sufficient to read signs and follow simple oral and written instructions.

  • Ability to work safely while moving light to heavy weight objects.

  • Must possess and maintain a valid driver's license.

  • Lifts and carries objects up to 45 lbs independently and objects over 45 lbs with assistance.

  • Adheres to safety regulations and standards.
