You will ensure the effective delivery of comprehensive support programs designed to enhance the quality of life and readiness of service members and their families.
You will oversee non-medical clinical counselors and Family Advocacy Program Clinicians.
You will be responsible for identifying the needs and concerns of the installation, presenting plans, recommendations, and providing assistance to correct readiness and retention issues.
You will respond to client and staff complaints or problems, taking necessary actions to resolve them, and serve on installation committees, boards, and councils as a subject matter expert on quality of life for military personnel and their families.
You will serve as the principal advisor to the Installation Commanding Officer (ICO) on FFSC-related program delivery.
You will identify plans and strategies to assist commanders with preventing, identifying, and addressing family readiness challenges to maintain unit cohesion and operational and family readiness.
You will monitor enterprise or locally developed performance metrics, making recommendations regarding the continued use, enhancement, or reduction of programs, personnel, and material and facility footprints.
You will be required to hold a duty to provide 24/7 Response for Family Advocacy per DoW regulations

Qualifications
In addition to the Basic Requirements for this position, your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-12 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Knowledge of Fleet and Family Readiness Center cervices, serv ice delivery systems, concept, principles, and theories to effectively and efficiently manage FFSC programs
2) Knowledge of the Navy organization, mission, and lifestyle; the psychological and socioeconomic factors affecting command and mission readiness.
3) Knowledge of Federal, state and municipal human service laws, program, policies, and directives to disseminate updated program information.
Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., professional, philanthropic, religious, spiritual, community, student, social). Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment.
