Duties

Help
  • Perform workload and other statistically-based analyses to identify and address the implications of contractor performance.
  • Develop and refine appropriate metrics intended to monitor MCSC progress toward achieving long/short-term goals set in regional business plans.
  • Perform contractor performance surveillance in concert with DHA Contracting Officer and Contracting Officer Representative and in accordance with the Government Surveillance Plan.
  • Provide regular updates and information regarding Managed Care Support Contract (MCSC) activities.
  • Analyze potential improvements to existing contracts, financing programs, and helps develop plans and strategies for potential/contract changes.

Basic Requirements for Health Systems Specialist:
Specialized Experience:
One year of specialized experience which includes assisting with resolving issues within medical treatment facilities, assisting with reviewing contractor performance, and reviewing, analyzing and/or developing policies affecting medical support delivery.

This definition of specialized experience is typical work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-12).Some federal jobs allow you to substitute your education for the required experience in order to qualify. For this job, you must meet the qualification requirement using experience alone--no substitution of education for experience is permitted.
