Duties

Help
  • You will be responsible for daily management of the intelligence support activities of the intelligence staff including intelligence oversight, collection management, systems and programs management, cover and signature reduction.
  • You will serve as the senior program/project manager for intelligence support activities at the Command.
  • You will serve as the first line supervisor for multiple intelligence support functions provided by a large and diverse civilian and military work force.
  • You will provide centralized administration, governance, coordination of all investments in intelligence systems, intelligence oversight, collection management, cover and signature management including hardware, software and contract services.
  • You will be responsible for enabling highly capable intelligence systems solutions at affordable costs with decreased acquisition timelines.
  • You will centrally manage all contracts supporting Intelligence mission areas, including management of all tools, licenses and personnel support
  • You will be responsible for ensuring the coordination, implementation and execution of intelligence oversight for all MARFORCYBER forces.
  • You will be responsible for ensuring proper management and resource allocation for cover and signature reduction for all MARFORCYBER Forces.

  • This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
  • Supervisors in the executive branch have a heightened personal responsibility for advancing government ethics. You will be required to review the 14 General Principles of Ethical Conduct at 5 CFR 2635.101.

Qualifications

Your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS/GG-13 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector performing the following duties:

  1. Developing and demonstrating operational knowledge of capabilities and accesses of the collection disciplines, strengths and weaknesses of specific technical sensors/platforms, and human sources in area of responsibility. Executes collection using appropriate collection strategies and within the priorities established through the collection management process.
  2. Identifying a need for and knows where or how to gather information. Obtains, evaluates, organizes, and maintains information.
  3. Developing networks and building alliances; collaborates across boundaries to build strategic relationships and achieve common goals.
  4. Applying principles, methods, tools for developing, scheduling, coordinating, monitoring, evaluating, and managing projects and resources, including technical performance.
Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., professional, philanthropic, religious, spiritual, community, student, social). Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment.
